Raymond Thompson serves as Deputy Manager for Park HomeCare at Ellie Bee House, supporting the Registered Manager in the day-to-day leadership, safeguarding oversight, and operational management of the home.

Ray brings both professional experience and lived experience to his role, having grown up in care himself. This perspective provides him with a deep understanding of the challenges young people may face and strengthens his ability to build genuine, trusting relationships that promote stability and emotional wellbeing.

In his role as Deputy Manager, Ray supports the implementation of trauma-informed practice, care planning, risk management, and quality assurance processes. He works closely with the Registered Manager to maintain high standards of safeguarding, compliance, and consistent daily practice within the home.

Ray is committed to providing nurturing, structured, and relationship-based care that helps young people develop resilience, confidence, and independence. He also supports staff through reflective practice and positive behaviour approaches, ensuring that the home remains calm, predictable, and child-centred.
