Shift Pattern: 2 on / 4 off
Rate of Pay: £13.83 per hour+ £60 sleep-in

About the Role

Residential Care Workers play a vital role in providing daily care, support, and guidance to children and young people. The role involves building positive relationships, promoting wellbeing, and supporting children in developing independence and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily routines including education, health, and activities
• Build safe, trusting relationships with children
• Promote emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour
• Maintain accurate records and participate in handovers
• Work collaboratively with the wider team and professionals

Essential Requirements

• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards)
• Experience working with children or young people
• Understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries
• Ability to work shifts, including sleep-ins
• Enhanced DBS clearance
