Deputy Manager

Shift Pattern: 2 on / 4 off
Rate of Pay: £16.83 per hour + £60 sleep-in

About the Role

The Deputy Manager supports the Registered Manager in the day-to-day running of the home. This role ensures high standards of care are consistently delivered and supports the development of a structured, safe, and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support operational management of the home
• Lead shifts and provide guidance to the team
• Ensure safeguarding and regulatory standards are maintained
• Contribute to care planning and risk management
• Support staff supervision and reflective practice
• Promote positive outcomes for children and young people

Essential Requirements

• Level 3/4 qualification in Residential Childcare (or working towards Level 5)
• Experience in a senior childcare role
• Strong understanding of safeguarding
• Ability to lead and motivate a team
• Enhanced DBS clearance
