Registered Manager

Shift Pattern: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
Salary: Competitive (dependent on experience)

About the Role

The Registered Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and regulatory compliance of the home. The role ensures that children receive high-quality, trauma-informed care in line with the Children’s Homes (England) Regulations 2015 and Ofsted Quality Standards.

The Registered Manager sets the culture of the home, leads the staff team, and ensures safeguarding, stability, and positive outcomes remain at the centre of practice.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strong leadership and direction to the staff team
• Ensure full compliance with Ofsted and statutory regulations
• Oversee safeguarding practice and child protection procedures
• Monitor care planning, risk assessments, and outcomes
• Maintain high standards of record-keeping and reporting
• Lead supervision, staff development, and performance management

Essential Requirements

• Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management (or working towards)
• Significant experience in residential childcare
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding legislation
• Experience in managing Ofsted inspections
• Enhanced DBS clearance
