Team Leader
Shift Pattern: 2 on / 4 off
Rate of Pay: £14.83 per hour + £60 sleep-in
About the Role
The Team Leader provides leadership on shift and supports the delivery of consistent, structured, and trauma-informed care. This role ensures daily routines run smoothly while maintaining a safe and stable environment for children.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead shifts and delegate responsibilities appropriately
• Support care planning and behaviour management strategies
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding practice
• Provide guidance and mentoring to Residential Care Workers
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting
Essential Requirements
• Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (minimum)
• Experience working in a children’s residential setting
• Ability to manage challenging situations calmly
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Enhanced DBS clearance
